Attorney Derek Reed Provides Commentary to NJ Spotlight News on Evictions Rising

New Jersey鈥檚 two-year moratorium on pandemic-related evictions expired at the end of December. Low-income tenants still can鈥檛 be evicted if they missed rent between March 2020 and December 31, 2021鈥攁nd certified their status with the state. But there鈥檚 no similar pandemic-related eviction protection this year. And eviction numbers are rising.
